Authentication & API Keys
SOCIOAPI uses Bearer Token authentication to secure all endpoint requests. You must include your active secret API key in the HTTP request headers.
Managing API Keys
You can fully manage your API credentials directly from your developer dashboard console. Here is how you perform Create Read Delete/Revoke operations on your API keys:
Navigate to the API Keys page in your console, click on Generate New Key, assign a custom label, and securely save your secret token.
View your active keys list, creation timestamps, last usage audit logs, and associated permission scopes in real-time from the dashboard table.
Permanently revoke or delete unused or deprecated API keys to immediately terminate their access to SOCIOAPI gateways.
How to Use Your API Key
Pass your secret token inside the Authorization header prefixed with the word Bearer.
curl -X GET "https://api.socioapi.com/api/v1/events/search?platform=tiktok" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sk_******************************" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json"Security Best Practice
Never expose your secret API keys in client-side code (such as React SPA frontend repositories or mobile apps). Always route API requests through your backend server as a secure proxy.
